SHIPPING & RETURNS

SHIPPING 

Shipping is available to all Canadian and U.S. addresses, with costs as follows:

- Free Shipping on all orders (Canadian and US) of US$59 or more (not applicable to Canadian Territories)

- US$6.99 flat rate shipping for all US orders under US$59.

- US$9.00 flat rate shipping for Canadian orders under US$59 (not applicable to the territories)

- Customers are responsible for any taxes, customs duties or other fees.

All orders are usually shipped within 3-5 business days. If there are any unexpected delays, you will be notified by e-mail. US orders are sent via Chit Chats Express + USPS and Canadian Orders are sent via Chit Chats Express or Canada Post. Tracking number will be provided.

We recommend leaving your need-by date in the note of your shopping cart to help us arrange the production and shipping appropriately. We do our best to accommodate to customers’ need-by dates. However, we don’t guarantee the dates of delivery because the shipping and delivery is handled by a third party.

Local pick-up is available in Ottawa. There is no shipping cost associated with this option.

Please make sure you leave the correct shipping address at the time you place the order. We don’t refund if the item(s) is lost of returned to us due to wrong shipping address left by the customer.

RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY 

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, please let us know as soon as you can and we will do our best to resolve the issue for you.  

Regular priced items can be returned for refund within 10 days of local pick-up or 10 days of receiving your online order. 
 
Sale items can be returned for store credit only within these same timelines. 
 
All item(s) must arrive to us in its original condition or the return or exchange will be refused. We dont recommend returning fragile items, such as tassel garlandsThis is because these items can be easily damaged during the transit without sturdy packaging supplies and professional technique of packaging.  
 
The costs associated with returning the item(s) are the responsibility of the customer. We are not responsible for any returned items that are lost or damaged at arrival. If you have any concern on that, we recommend purchasing insurance from the service provider. 

Once we receive your returned item(s), a refund or store credit will be issued, less the cost of shipping paid by you when the order was placed. If you received free shipping, the amount of our standard shipping cost will be deducted from the refund if your order value no longer meets the free shipping threshold. 
 

Please note these items are NOT eligible for refund or exchange: 

  • For hygienic reasons, all food related products cannot be returned or exchanged, for example, cake toppers and candles, tableware and baking supplies. 
  • Balloons that are popped during inflation or use are not eligible for refund or exchange. 
     

DAMAGED OR WRONG ITEM 

In the rare event that your order arrives damaged or we sent incorrect items, please send us an e-mail at geniewoo@gmail.com and include a photo of the item(s).
